July 4 Golf Cart Parade Many campers walk around the campground for morning or evening exercise. Great times to meet people and chat! We love campfires, and especially when we can use wood shaped like chimineas! By May, most folks have their boats in and the docks get busy! | We have campers who visit us on a recurring basis--and some of them come to do some unusual activities--like catching catfish by hand! Sunset is an especially beautiful time at the docks--come see! It's a great place to greet and meet! Many kinds of wildlife can be seen in all areas of our campground and also around nearby Smith Mountain Lake docks. People hang out in all kinds of ways, including neighborhood pot luck dinners and down on the docks in the evenings. |
